So Yeah...

A month then goes by in your second semester. Then it happens. For the first time in a long time, You are bored. Yes my friends BORED. You have since figured out how to brief a case that in your first semester took an hour now takes 20 minutes. You have electronic research access to Westlaw, which means you don't have to book research any more. Saves time. You know how to outline, so when you are in class you take notes in a way that makes outlining easy.

Basically, what I am saying, is that you now have a shakey yet nonetheless bead on things.

So there you have it. Not much has changed it is a holding pattern. Now i am just crusing till spring break, then Finals. Then being done with the first year.
